Salads are a classic on our dinning table, but this salad with grilled shrimp is totally different and you will love it. The secret to this Salad is the delicious grilled shrimp cooked in your Classic Grill Pan; they are delicious and mouth watering, perfect for a light and healthy lunch. You can enjoy this salad by itself or as a side. You may also serve it with a side of toast.
You won’t need a lot of time. With just a few ingredients and some tricks, you will have a delicious and healthy salad to share with family and friends. After trying this salad, it will become one of your favorites!
1 pound peeled shrimps
1 head romaine lettuce, washed
10 cherry tomatoes
¼ cup of red onion
2 ears of sweet corn
¼ cup of cilantro, finely chopped
½ cup of lemon juice
½ cup of olive oil, plus two tablespoons
2 garlic cloves finely chopped
Salt and pepper
To make the vinaigrette, mix lemon juice, ½ cup of olive oil, cilantro, and salt and pepper to taste in a small bowl. Mix well to incorporate all ingredients and set aside.
With the Chef’s Knife from our Elite Series Cutlery Set, cut the cucumbers and avocados into cubes, then cut the romaine lettuce and red onion in julienne. Due to their small size, cut the cherry tomatoes in half. Lastly, take the corn, previously boiled, and remove the kernels by making firm cuts from the top to the base. Mix these ingredients together, then add to a large bowl, using the romaine lettuce as a base with the other ingredients on top. Set aside.
In a medium bowl, mix the shrimp with the garlic, and season with salt and pepper to taste. Preheat the Classic Grill Pan over medium heat and add two tablespoons of olive oil. Place the shrimp in the utensil and cook for 3 minutes on each side. When they are cooked, add the shrimp in the bowl with the vegetables. Add a few tablespoons of vinaigrette and cilantro, and toss.
Serve with toast and enjoy! Definitely, this is a delicious salad prepared in the blink of an eye.
