Green Beans Almondine with Bacon

Ingredients:
1 lb green beans
2 or 3 slices thick cut bacon, chopped
2 shallots, minced (if you do not have shallots, you can use 1/2 onion)
½ cup almonds, sliced or chopped
2 tablespoons chicken broth
Salt and pepper to taste

Preheat the Large Classic Skillet on medium heat, add the bacon and cook until crisp, about 5 minutes. Remove the bacon from the utensil, place in a small bowl and set aside. Add the shallots to the skillet and cook, stirring constantly with a Spoonula, for about 2 or 3 minutes. Add the green beans and season with salt and pepper. Add the chicken broth, cover the utensil with the vent open and cook for about 5 minutes. The green beans should be crispy and with a bright and vibrant green color.
